Another prized landmark in the area is Williams Tower (formerly known as the Transco Tower.) Completed in 1983, it was built in part to draw attention to the energy industry in Houston. The Williams Waterwall, a 64-foot fountain, rests at the south end of the tower circulating 11,000 gallons of water every minute! It’s a great place to take a walk, enjoy a picnic, or create a perfect photo opportunity.
Sugar Hill Condominiums in Uptown is bounded by Woodway Drive, the 610 Loop, Interstate 69, and Yorktown Street, creating many viable routes available in and around the Houston area. Additionally, residents can access the METRORapid Silver Line, providing bus transit along Post Oak Blvd, through the Galleria area, connecting Uptown Houston to two major transit centers.
