Once settled in the early 1800s by German immigrants, Timbergrove began as an area of scattered farms. It began developing in the early 1950s offering traditional postwar, ranch style homes on spacious lots. The area continues to thrive as tree-lined streets and large lots continue to be a draw for homebuyers.
